Abstract
Structures and phase transitions (PT's) in pseudohexagonal crystals A2CX4 and ALiCX4 related to α-K2SO4 prototype (G 0) are analyzed on the basis of statistical models with four and twelve orientational states for tetrahedral CX4-groups in G 0. It is shown that structures of the β-K2SO4 and glaserite types appearing on the first stage of ordering G 0 → G 1 in A2CX4 crystals as well as structures of high KLiSO4 and CsLiSO4 in ALiCX4 crystals are the partially disordered ones. Possible ways of their further ordering are analyzed. Structures of other relatives of G 0 are discussed. Keywords
