Abstract
This article summarizes the results of research on water well clogging in the Netherlands. The causes, the symptoms characteristic of the various causes, methods of regenerating production, and preventive measures are discussed. In most cases, proper means of rehabilitation and periodic treatment have restored the capacity of the country's wells, and in some instances production has been increased to levels greater than those achieved when the wells were first commissioned. Keywords
