Abstract
Measurements and comparison of standard resistors are generally carried out in Standards Laboratories employing the well-known Wheatstone and Kelvin bridges. In the present paper the use of a dc current comparator has been described in order to compare a set of standard resistors. The results obtained lie within 1 to 5 ppm of those determined by the conventional methods. It is believed that with some refinements this method may, in the future, be accepted as an alternative approach of measuring standard resistors in laboratories. Keywords
