Abstract
In countries where HIV infection is common and health care resources are limited, identification of HIV-infected infants is difficult because PCR testing is not affordable. Available enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay tests (AXSYM System; Abbott) set a cutoff point of 1; by changing this point to 10, HIV-infected infants can be identified at a young age.Keywords
