Abstract
Strong second-harmonic generation is observed from plasmas generated on aluminium and glass. Both redshifts and blueshifts of the frequency spectra were measured, depending on the angle of incidence. Time-resolved measurements reveal maxima of the second harmonic a few picoseconds after the generation of the plasma. Keywords
