Abstract
SUMMARY: The contemporary comparison method of evaluating the progeny test of sires has been employed in estimating the breeding values of bulls used in the development of the Jamaica Hope breed. The need to test a larger number of bulls by combining the programme at the national level is stressed.Keywords
