Abstract
When 99TcmO4 labelled macroaggregated albumin is administered to a lactating mother it may be necessary to delay the resumption of feeding. This can cause various problems including the discomfort experienced by the mother and a possible reaction by the child. The practice in Aberdeen, in the few cases experienced, has been to recommend a delay of 36 hours following an administered dose of 500 μCi before feeding is resumed. Keywords
