Abstract
A general method of 1,6-di-O-acetylation of methyl-ä/β-glycopyranosides and a strategy to synthesize protected dimethyl (2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-α-D-glycosyl) phosphonate having a free OH at C-6 are reported. Keywords
