A method is described for the detn. of micro quantities of Mn in tissues by its catalytic action on the oxidation of N, N-diethylaniline by KIO4. Technical details must be followed exactly. Due to the presence of Ca and phosphate in bone and Fe in blood, the method could not be used for these tissues.
