Abstract
The literature concerning spontaneous resolution of occlusive lesions involving the carotid artery is reviewed. Four additional cases in patients illustrating 3 pathological vascular processes that may resolve spontaneously, i.e., arterial dissection, atheromatous lesions at the carotid bifurcation and an arteriopathy involving the intracranial vessels, are discussed. This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
