Abstract
Methods of multidimensional power spectral estimation are reviewed. Seven types of estimators are discussed: Fourier, separable, data extension, MLM, MEM, AR, and Pisarenko estimators. Particular emphasis is given to MEM where current research is quite active. Theoretical developments are reviewed and computational algorithms are discussed. Keywords
