Abstract
The karyotypes of six species of the genus Nigella could be investigated with somewhat modified C-banding techniques, and in the case of N. damascena quantitative measurements of the C-bands could be performed. The C-banding patterns were analysed and found to occur at primary and secondary constrictions and at intercalary segments. It allowed to establish some cytotaxoncmical relationships between the species. This publication has 24 references indexed in Scilit:
