Abstract
Based on graphical considerations, a convenient method is presented for the evaluation of the distribution functions of quantum-mechanical many-body systems. A formal density expansion of the pair distribution function is discussed, and our expected results are examined by using an electron gas as a typical example. Explicit results for the pair distribution function are presented which correct the ring-diagram results. Keywords
