Abstract
The thymolytic effect of corticoids such as cortisone and cortisol was potentiated in the immature adrenalectomizedovariectomized mouse by progesterone, testosterone and estradiol-17β. Deoxycorticosterone augmented the thymolytic effects or cortisol, cortisone and corticosterone, but the dosages of deoxycorticosterone employed frequently produced some thymolytic effect when administered singly. No inhibition of corticoids was observed with any of the many combinations studied. It is suggested that the intensification of the corticoid effect may be by way of a corticoid sparing action. Keywords
