Abstract
Pathologic changes associated with hair follicles include infundibular hyperkeratosis, inflammation, mucinous degeneration and transepidermal elimination of foreign material. Because of the focal nature of the pathologic changes multiple sections are often useful in establishing the correct diagnosis.Keywords
