Abstract
The change with respect to time of the information in a population is studied, when the population is classified according to genetic type. The cases considered are (i) an infinite population classified at two loci, (ii) a large finite population classified at one locus, subject to sampling fluctuations and (iii) the same, subject to the effect of mutation. Keywords
