Chloroma or Granuloma

Abstract
In September, 1926, a hopeless prognosis was given for a 19-month-old baby admitted to the Pediatric Ward of the University of California Hospital. He had large tumors in the left frontal bone, the right femur, and the mediastinum, with a small destructive lesion in the right tibia. In addition he was in relatively poor general condition so that the outlook seemed nearly hopeless, no matter what the precise diagnosis might be. To have been able to follow such a patient for 35 years is such an unusual and gratifying experience as to warrant another report in addition to the 2 already made. The first report of this patient's course was made by one of us in 1930 under the title "Chloroma."1The patient was then in good health at the age of 5 years.
