Abstract
The excitation function of the 4.43-MeV gamma ray from the reaction has been studied and angular distributions have been measured at 13 alpha-particle energies from 3.6 to 7.6 MeV in an effort to determine compound nucleus nature of the system. Many broad resonances are found in the energy region studied.
