Abstract
Antibody against picryl chloride and 2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene obtained by the immunization of rabbits and guinea pigs with tne respective protein conjugates was compared with similarly obtained anti-egg albumin and anti-bovine gamma globulin antibody in the passive cutaneous test in guinea pigs. The 2 categories of antibodies were effective for local sensitization in amounts of similar magnitude (10-2 meg). In many instances, latent periods of 17 hours were more effective than those of 6 hours. Keywords
