Abstract
The laterally confining potential of quantum dots on semiconductors is approximated by a two-dimensional harmonic-oscillator well. The discrete level diagram for two interacting electrons in this potential is calculated in the effective-mass approximation as a function of the dot size and the strength of a magnetic field directed perpendicularly to the dot plane. Keywords
