Abstract
Magnification of the operative field by endoscopes and a closed circuit television system enables precise and meticulous surgery of the ethmoid sinus via an endonasal approach. Endoscopic microsurgery of the ethmoid sinus utilizing meticulous technique improves the final results and offers greater safety than conventional surgery. Clear visualization enables a precise technique and facilitates the prevention of serious surgical complications. The authors’ technique of endoscopic sinus operation is described in a step-by-step description and the results of a patient survey and postoperative evaluation confirm excellent symptomatic improvement with minimal complications. Keywords
