Abstract
Praziquantel administered in a single oral dose of 30 mg kg−1 to subjects infected with Schistosoma haematobium produced minimal side effects and was more effective than established regimes of niridazole and metrifonate. Praziquantel should prove a major tool in schistosomiasis control programmes. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
