Abstract

Ethchlorvynol is a chlorinated tertiary acetylenic carbinol. Ethchlorvynol is a non-barbiturate hypnotic and sedative with some anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant properties. However, Its use has largely been superseded by other drugs.
