Abstract
Total sterility in male rats has been observed on a diet of cow's whole milk supplemented with small amounts of iron and copper salts. This sterility is characterized by the complete disappearance of the germinal epithelium, great loss in amount of testicular tissue, and pronounced edema. This sterility is not due apparently to lack of vitamin E. The effect on the testis is greatly intensified by some action of the ferric chloride. What this action is, is unknown. Keywords
