Abstract
The variation in practice between different ear, nose and throat practitioners is considered. Not only the variability in assessment but also the differences in disposal based on the particular assessment processes are studied. Main parameters of difference (7) are isolated in the routine assessment practices of 10 specialists when children are considered for adenotonsillectomy. These parameters would account for differences between specialists in the propensities to list children for surgery such as were found in epidemiological analysis of specialist practice. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
