Extension of the Yoshioka theory of inelastic electron scattering in crystals

Abstract
The Yoshioka equations describing the elastically and inelastically scattered electrons in a crystal may be solved by iteration. It is shown that a convergent iteration scheme can be found provided an optical potential is introduced for both the elastically and inelastically scattered electrons.Keywords
