Abstract
Mycoplasmas isolated from bovine mastitis were classified into 5 distinct species. These included Mycoplasma bovis, M. bovigenitalium, M. alkalescens, M. canadense and an unidentified strain, ST-6. Strains frequently recovered from the nose of young calves were M. arginini. M. bovirhinis was recovered from the respiratory tract but was not a common finding. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
