Abstract
Two-stage correction of [human] tuberous breast is illustrated and apparently indicated to attain a more aesthetically pleasing result in this unusual deformity. Routine augmentation mammaplasty [AM] corrects the base defects of vertical and horizontal contraction creating an appropriately placed breast mound. Ptosis of the nipple-areola complex becomes becomes obvious, and correction with creation of a new skin brassiere is necessary. Merely telescoping the breast tissue into the nipple-areola complex has not always produced a satisfactory long-lasting result. Subsequently, true ptosis procedure on that breast deformity after AM has yielded the most aesthetically pleasing long-term results. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
