Abstract
The time of day that drugs are taken can influence effectiveness and toxicity (1). There are many descriptions of laboratory experiments demonstrating this, but many physicians do not consider this aspect of prescribing when treating patients. Our Nottingham group is concerned with asking whether this detail of treatment might be important in renal transplantation, but our investigations have relevance to the treatment of joint disorders and relevant studies have been carried out with colleagues in rheumatology. Keywords
