Abstract
A formula is derived for the Euclidean action of a black hole surrounded by Yang-Mills, scalar, and fermion fields. This is used to prove that the entropy of a black hole with classical hair is given by the usual formula, S=1/4A, where A is the area of the event horizon, and the modifications for quantum hair are discussed. Keywords
