Abstract
Absorption and photoionization coefficients of CO2 have been measured in the regions of strong band and continuous absorption in the spectral range between 1000 and 600 Å. The total continuum underlying the band structure has been estimated as well as that fraction due to ionization and dissociation. A strong fluorescent edge was observed at 715.7 Å and was found to contain vibrational structure. Keywords
