Abstract
Mitomycin C proved useful as prophylaxis against [human]superficial bladder tumor recurrences. However, there was a significant incidence of prostatic urethral recurrences. Careful followup with urine cytology and cystoscopy and bladder and prostatic urethral biopsies should, therefore, be done at regular intervals. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
