Abstract
Elongation of the anterior tubercle of the transverse process of a cervical vertebrae is a rare congenital osseous anomaly. The presenting case demonstrates the need for a thorough clinical assessment/evaluation on every patient. The importance of the radiological examination as a component of clinical assessment is explained.
