Abstract
The thermal and electrical transport properties for Cu-Nb metal-metal composites have been measured in order to determine the suitability of these materials for high strength structural members where high thermal conductivities are needed. In the temperature range between zero and 400 °C the thermal diffusivity of the cold drawn alloy is about 10% less than annealed Cu. The rule of mixtures, in fact, describes the data well. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
