Abstract
The synthesis of new mesomorphic side-chain polymethylsiloxanes with spacers derived from ω-alkenoic acids is described. These liquid crystalline polymers exhibit nematic and(or) smectic A and(or) smectic C phases, depending of spacer and terminal tail lengths. Keywords
