Abstract
The change of molecular size distribution of polymers induced by crosslinking is solved rigorously when the initial distribution is uniform. The behaviour of moments of the distribution after gelation is also discussed. Further, a simple relation between number and weight average degree of polymerization \(\frac{2}{N_{n}}{=}1+\frac{1}{N_{w}}\) is found.
