Abstract
An integral-differential equation is developed which gives the intensity within a scattering medium as a function of position and direction. The scattering properties of an infinitesimal volume of the medium are assumed known, but no special assumption is made concerning their nature. The equation is put in a form suitable for numerical solution. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
