Abstract
This paper presents a "hands-on" behavioral model of consultation. The focus is on methods to assure the implementation of an intervention designed to meet specified consultation objectives. Three major phases are delineated, and tasks within each phase are specified. Methods and procedures to accomplish these activities are provided and potential pitfalls to implementation are described. Finally, implications for teacher education are provided. Keywords
