Colonic strictures in infants following intestinal ischemia. Treatment by balloon catheter dilatation.

Abstract
Successful balloon catheter dilatation through the defunctionalized limb of a colostomy was performed in three infants with postischemic colonic stricture. This experience suggests that balloon catheter dilatation can be an alternative to surgical resection in treating delayed ischemic colonic stricture.
