Abstract
Concentrations of renal Pb, As, Hg and Cd from 64 free-ranging adult white-tailed deer (O. virginianus) were determined. Mean concentrations in ppm wet weight and SD for the metals were: Pb, 0.574 .+-. 0.646; As, 0.189 + 0.320; Hg, 0.176 .+-. 0.114; and Cd, 6.968 .+-. 9.215. Variations in heavy metal concentration in deer collected from differing ecoregions within Oklahoma [USA] were discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
