Differential and total cross sections for ionization of helium and hydrogen by electrons

Abstract
A comprehensive semiempirical model for singly and doubly differential and total ionization cross sections for electron production by electron impact is presented. The model is discussed in relation to several theoretically required constraints. Available experimental data for hydrogen and helium targets are examined, and recommended values of the data are given for all ranges of primary and secondary energies and angles of ejection.Keywords
