Ascorbic acid prevents liver tumour production by aminopyrine and nitrite in the rat

Abstract
Massive doses of vitamin C protected rats against liver tumour production by aminopyrine and sodium nitrite, but the protection against lung and kidney tumour production was not complete. The mechanism is in part due to blockage of in vivo nitrosation. Other unknown factors may operate to give the liver complete protection.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
