Abstract
The investigation of a methanolic extract of Gliricidiasepium bark afforded, in addition to vestitol and 2‘-O-methylvestitol, three new 12a-hydroxyrotenoids, gliricidol (1), 2-methoxygliricidol (2), and gliricidin (3). The structures of 1−3 were elucidated by analysis of their spectroscopic data. Compounds 1−3 exhibited activity against Artemiasalina larvae. Keywords
