Abstract
Level energies and details of the γ-ray decay scheme in 51Cr are determined by Ge(Li) spectrometer and angular correlation techniques. Spin 3/2 is assigned to levels at 0.748, 1.898, 2.893, 3.125, and 3.769 MeV. A level at 776 keV, for which spin 1/2– is favored, may account for the anomalous lifetime previously reported for the 748-keV γ ray in 51Cr.Keywords
