Abstract
A rabbit anti-ornithosis immune serum can be employed as an indicator serum in the Karrer et al (indirect complement fixation) [ICF] procedure, providing the units of both antigen and antibody and the individual rabbit immune serum are selected. Good agreement was obtained between titers of anti-ornithosis serums of turkeys and chickens in ICF using rabbit and human indicator serums. These titers were also in relatively good agreement with the titers obtained by Brumfield''s et al. direct complement fixation test procedures with either the bacterial or ornithosis antigens. Keywords
