Teaching Cross-Cultural Psychology: Providing the Missing Link

Abstract
Learning about cross-cultural psychology is often difficult because individuals lack pertinent experience. This article describes a new culture-general assimilator that provides knowledge relevant to cross-cultural education. The materials consist of 100 critical incidents introducing 18 culture-general themes, including such concepts as attribution formation, categorization, ingroup-outgroup distinctions, and learning style preferences. Two of the incidents are described and evaluative evidence is presented.Keywords
