Abstract
Lymphatic malformations are rare forms of vascular anomalies. They are most frequently diagnosed at birth and most often occur in the head and neck area. Their treatment continues to be challenging, and treatment methods continue to evolve. In this article, the embryology of the lymphatic system is reviewed, and the classification of lymphatic malformations and their natural history and treatment are discussed. Keywords
