Abstract
A high risk of IUD[intrauterine device]-related uterine perforation in lactating women in the USA was reported. The large international datasets on IUD and tubal sterilizations collected by Family Health International were examined. A positive association in IUD users as well as in women undergoing laparoscopic or minilaparotomy sterilization is indicated. Keywords
