Abstract
A trap for catching insects emerging from standing water was tested in an artificial pool. Trapping efficiency was .ltoreq. 100% for 3 genera of chironomids [Glyptotendipes lobiferus, Dicrotendipes nervosus, Endochironomus sp.]. The proportion of specimens retained by the trap was independent of the number caught. Males lived longer than females. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
