Abstract
A double staining procedure using potassium permanganate and lead citrate is described. The technique, involving treatment of sections with a 1% solution of potassium permanganate followed by lead citrate staining, is shown to be more effective in producing contrast in Spurr-embedded tissue than the conventional uranyl acetate – lead citrate method. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
